The new revenue-share model offers a much simpler pricing, shielding the partner from the complexity and evolution of the regular SAP HANA Cloud Platform customer pricing. Furthermore there is no longer the need to predict the SAP HANA Cloud Platform resource consumption of the app or pay attention to the kind of different SAP HANA Cloud Platform services used by the app. This assumes, of course, that the app does not show an extreme resource consumption, i.e., stays within the governor limits. As a result, the partner can plan and budget for the applicable PaaS-charges in a much more transparent and sustainable way.
