Program Levels and Value Points
As of August 31, 2015, a performance-based leveling system along with additional, tier-specific partner logos will be added to the SAP PartnerEdge program for Application Development.
The SAP PartnerEdge program offers rich benefits that reward your organization for active participation and success in the SAP ecosystem. To help you illustrate your efforts and commitment, program levels are associated with program benefits for your company. They also showcase your company’s expertise and commitment to delivering business value to our customers. All new partners enter the program at the silver level with the opportunity to attain the gold level, which offers more benefits.

How Your Program Level is Calculated
Your organization advances from the silver to the gold level based on the number of Value Points earned. This system provides innovative ways for your organization to be recognized and rewarded in the following areas:
- Business performance
At the end of each month, SAP checks your organization’s Value Points balance. Provided that your company has met the required Value Points threshold for the gold level, SAP will automatically upgrade your program level at the beginning of the following month. Most Value Points expire 12 months after they are earned. For more information about expiration rules and earning Value Points, see “How Value Points Work for Your Organization” below.
How Value Points Work for Your Organization
Value Points are counted toward your program level when your organization becomes an operational partner at the silver level. Your Value Points are awarded and accumulated across all engagement models in which you participate.
- You can check your Value Points statement in the tool.
- The customer references are managed within the Manage My Partnership tool and will automatically increase your value points. You can get a description on the workflow to solicit a reference from your customer.
